Why does it seem like so many other guys have a foot fetish?

It's one thing to be aroused by feet, but I don't understand what they get out of sniffing or sucking on someone's foot. Most people's feet (even women's feet) probably smell bad & are dirty since people walk around all day which means you could catch germs from putting someone's feet in your mouth.
